Bevel Tutorial

1.Okay so we are gonna make a little map with some curves etc. to get you started out on how to make curves, First your gonna want to make a box (1088 X 596 X 504) Make sure to texture it with caulk and also make sure none of the brushes from the box are overlapping.

2.Now we are gonna want to texture the inside of our box, remember press (Ctrl + Shift + L mouse button) to select a face. After you've got it all textured to your liking we are gonna make a box in one of are corners(56 X 56 X 400) with the box we just made selected(go to the curves menu>bevel) Wala! you've created a bevel now hit(Ctrl I) to invert it. we also want to rotate it so it fits are corner, go up on the menu bar and look for all the rotating buttons, it will be the far right one we want.

3.Now we have are bevel rotated correctly, but your texture looks wierd, dont go into surface inspector (S) go into (Shift +S ) now mess around with this until it fits correctly.

4.Now with that bevel being perfect in that corner select it (Shift Left mouse button) then hit (Space Bar) to copy it, now rotate it to fit the other 3 corners.

5. now add a playerspawn lights and compile and look at your finished work.
